It's 2018! Yes, the trainwreck that was 2017 is finally behind us.

Now that it's a new year, it's about time we all got started on the stuff we wanted to do last year, but never got around to. You know what I'm talking about!

I've got my New Year's resolutions all set, and now I can't wait to get into some of the top self-improvement podcasts on iTunes. Here are five with glowing reviews:

Created by award-winning author and entrepreneur Jonathan Fields, this podcast features "in-depth, candid conversations with acclaimed founders, makers, artists and world-shakers".

Favourable review: "This podcast inspires me. It shares real life stories of people who have gone through the biggest struggles, and come out stronger. There are inspiring interviews, and I always have many takeaways I can use to better myself and give more to others." - GinaAJohnson

Wow. Host Lori Harder is a 3X time fitness world champion, fitness expert and cover model, turned self love junkie - lifestyle entrepreneur and author. Talk about life goals!

Favourable review: "Listening to Lori and guests is a great way to remind yourself to strive to be the best and most authentic version of yourself. Lori is that friend we all need who is honest and supportive, and collects like-minded people around her - very inspiring." - dlyee

I might start listening to this one first! Rubin's book "The Happiness Project" is a fantastic read, and her podcast seems to be just as engaging.

Favourable review: "This podcast is refreshing, engaging, and fun! I am not generally a big consumer of podcasts (I'm more of a visual reader - books/blogs, etc.) but Gretchen Rubin and her sister are making me a convert. Their show manages to impart sage advice in an easy-going fashion. I also appreciate getting a sense of the sisters' personalities and lives without them "oversharing". - MaryEllen2002

Discover how to live a "meaningful life with less" with this podcast hosted by Joshua Fields Milburn & Ryan Nicodemus.

Favourable review: "A great podcast to remind you that the answer to all of life's most important questions are already within you. You just have to slow down, shut up, and listen." - Afarr988

Lewis Howes is a NYT bestselling author, Lifestyle Entrepreneur, former pro athlete and world record holder in football - also LIFE GOALS. And with his podcast, he might actually be the right person to "make America great again".

Favourable review: "What better way to fast track your life than by learning from people who have already achieved success and greatness themselves and are now willingly sharing their knowledge and wisdom? Lewis is an amazing interviewer and I love the variety of people featured in this podcast." - Luxy_Leyla
